Hi, anyone knows if it´s gonna come out a iOS 5.0.1 (9A406) version for iPhone 4??? Or definetly we´ll have to wait for iOS 5.1??(Martch 7th). A friend of mine dosen´t sleep because of her iPhone 4 issue.

I am on 9A406 and I have the problem with a 1 week old 4s.

My 3Gs is more reliable at this stage.

Is Apple not doing anything ?

Did that really work??? I can't believe my eyes.... I have the same problem and I can't believe that this is really happening... It is an unforgivable bug in Apple.. I assume that Orange (my provider) won't want to give me a 128K SIM (I don't even know if I already have that one..), but if Orange don't want to give me (or even sell) I'll try to cut a 64K SIM.

Unless you don't recommend it to me....

What is the risk? Voiding your warranty.

will than dont complan like littel girl :-) take your phone to apple and ask them to fix the network for you .

because removing screws designed to hold the phone together and leaving it like that sounds like a solid plan

Why would I do that? There is nothing wrong with my iPhone's network connection. It works perfectly. With the screws in place. And even back when I was a little girl, I had more sense than to do something like what you're suggesting.

I have just bought an Iphone4S iOS 5.1.1 64GB for me and an Iphone4S iOS 5.1.1 16GB for my wife and both of us were unable to make calls. I am in Brazil using carrier TIM.

Wifi is working fine. 3G is also OK. But I can not make or receive calls.

It seems to be a firmware or hardware issue. I decided to turn off 3G and now I can make and receive calls.

With 3G turned on, the telephone is useless. With 3G turned off, the telephone works!

Anyone knows if apple is aware of that? Are they going to release any patch?

So you just updated your iPhone 4S to iOS 5 and you're having a problem making or receiving calls? That sounds a bit unlikely. If your problem is not related to updating to iOS 5, the subject of this thread, you may want to start your own thread.
