No signal on iPhone 4S, weird problem!

I got my iPhone 4S today. I inserted my sim-card from my iPhone 4, but I got no signal. Sometimes it get signal a few seconds before it says "No service".
Then I tried to insert another sim-card from a friend, and then it worked fine.
To check it wasn't an operator lock or something, I inserted my sim-card into his iPhone, and surprisingly it worked.

I would appreciate you'r help if you know something about this!

By the way - I've tried to restore network settings multiple times with no sucess.

vvvery great .... here is the solution!!!!! :-)

first: jailbreak the Iphone 4s hihihihihi

second: install sbssettings ..... :-)

third: disable 3G

..... of course you lost your guarantee because of the jailbreaking ..... but the phone will at least work well!!!!!

..... and all the money you spent for a phone that can make calls .... yes, .... you can make calls!!!!! :-)

Hi,

I am also facing the same "No service issue". I am located in KSA.

My iphone4S version is 5.0.1(9A406). I done all possible things like upgraded to 5.1

Then degraded to 5.0.1(9A406), as my earlier version was 5.0.1(9A405), as one discussion thread was saying that it may fix the problem.

I tried also all three carrier's sim like STC, ZAIN and Mobily.

with Zain sim situation is the worst.

Any idea as this is a software issue or a real hardware problem for the particular phone device ??

So, iphone4S is an idevice, but not a phone as it is not working as a phone..

Last three months I am struggling with issue..(So i am using Nokia phone as my phone!!..)

Experts please let me know any tips or tricks so that we can fix this..?

Open up the back of the phone with a little screw driver you can purchase through amazon. Then you will see a wire that runs up to a circular sliver thing. Then push down on this you should here a click that means that the attena was dissconnected and you reconnected it. After that back to gather. Should work and does not void warranty trust me I returned my phones a lot. Comment if you need help

Hi everyone

I've been stressed over my iPhone 4S that keeps searching for carrier

I've tried everything but nothing worked 😟

If I turn off the iPhone for 24 hours, it works like normal but then, back again.

Keeps searching for carrier

I don't know what to do, anyone please help me. My dad bought that for me nearly $770 and I feel extremely sad because that expensive phone is useless 😟
