Finally! I got notification from Apple this evening that they will be replacing my 1st gen nano. I had to verify serial number, but other than that they said they will send me packing materials and instructions to send it back and they will send me a replacement. They didn't say what they would replace it with (refurbish 1st gen, 2nd gen, 3rd gen...). Anyone have an inkling?

I have an iPod Nano 1st Gen but I live in th Philippines how can I ask for a replacement? Its working pretty fine except that its battery wouldn't last a day though.
My battery wouldn't last either, but I got a 6th gen replacement. I can't navigate with it. The tutorials say what should happen when you flick, swipe, etc, but either mine is broken, or I'm simply not holding it correctly. Quite frankly, it was a lot easier to have an ipod that I could use, even if it meant daily charging !
