Yahoo mail problems with Safari?
This just started happening in the past couple of weeks: When I am working in yahoo mail, Safari consistently crashes and I have to restart my Macbook Pro. Any fixes for this?

Somewhere earlier in this thread I reported that updating Safari, Flash then clearing flash worked. Then a day later the beach ball came back. I went back to my PC for my yahoo mail for several weeks.
Now I've started using my Mac again for Yahoo mail and it works like a champ for several days now. I'm wondering if someone at Yahoo or Apple fixed something. The only other thing I did recently was go to disk utility and run repair permissions and some other disk diagnostics. There was no indication that anything was repaired.
But I'm happy to report (for now) yahoo is working great for me on my MAC.
Is anyone still have the problem?
Just read Michael's reply. My repairing disk and permissions would fit his logic about something being corrupted on the disk. Also, perhaps it's possible Apple updated something in my Safari when I wasn't looking. Not sure how the Apple updates occur. Perhaps there are stealth updates you don't always know about?
Guys
In the light of current stuff ups and fights from / in-between Yahoo and Apple, I resolved my issues by backing up my info's reformating the Mac hard disk, installing the early Lion and didn't update any further than that.
It solved my problems. Although Yahoo is still not as fast as what it was a year ago, but at least I don't get all those strange problems.
Beside my Mac is now faster than before.
Cheers
