Am I able to put my digital signature in a document? If so, then how?

Hello 🙂

I am here to ask a question today: Am I able to insert my signature in a Pages 09 doc, and if yes, then how? I know someone told me once, but I forgot. I need a solution quick, though, because it is for a project due tommorrow.ℹ(I think it is done using the macbook's camera)

Thank you,

Victor

Now... I'll let you in on a little secret... If you REALLY want to add your signature into your Pages document, there is a way that you can do this without having to PDF your documents or use another other 3rd party app. It's called ⌘Command+C and ⌘Command+V.

Bacially, after you go through the process of saving your Signature using Preview, all you do is highlight the signature that you've made or would like to use, use ⌘Command+C to COPY this signature and then ⌘Command+V to PASTE into your Pages document. It would then create an "image" of your signature, which you can then move and size wherever you please in your document.User uploaded file

You can add a digital signature to a Pages pdf in Acrobat Pro.

There used to be a catch in Pages '09 that there was a white base layer to each page and therefore the digital signature had to be one layer higher. I don't know if this still applies in Pages 5. Be worth experimenting.

Meanwhile just treating it as any other graphic within Pages seems to work fine.
