iTunes 10.5.1 password irritation

I'm guessing "fixed soon" means within a decade or two? It's been two years, and this bug still plagues my PC. I've managed to stop it briefly, but it always crops up again. And no, Safari has nothing to do with it. I'm not stupid enough to use Safari. I just fixed it again by clearing iTunes cache, then restarting. No need to reboot.

maybe 11.0.4 addresses this, if the update notes are referring to this re-entering password

Morning everyone!

I've been seeing this for months. I'm on iTunes 11.1.3, and it's *still* asking for my applie id uid/pw 2-4 times per session. This even happens if only the system date/time changes (leave it open for a day then re-visit the iTunes window the next day).

Any news on a fix??

I always disable all cookies in safari on a fresh install (because I don't use safari and I want it locked-down) -- and yeah re-enabling all cookies in safari allowed me to fix this problem.
