what will be the replacement for the ipod nano replacement program

The one that doesnt take a charge will most likely be replaced. Does the one with broken LCD still functions? if yes then there shouldnt be any problems.

The Nano does not have to be working at all it just has to have a serial number covered under the replacement program. If it does they do not care about the condition at all.

I live in Romania and i have one issue : there are only 3 AASP's all in Bucharest (iStyle, Noumax and Cordongroup) and they don't want to replace my ipod nano 1st generation even if it's eligible because i don't have anymore the original invoice of purchace. Mine was purchased long time ago i think in 2006, throw up papers when warranty expired. They ask for papers or will replace ipod for 38 euros+VAT

Use one of their computers and show them the replacement link on Apple's site.

I got mine yesterday and they sent me a white iPod nano 7th Gen that with 30 pin to lighting Adapter as well.

yes i recevied a white 7th gen nano as well.

They said it's their own policy. Can do nothing about it. But Apple should stand up, instead they don't care.

Apple told you they don't care? Have you called them? Did you try using the online system to send it back or is it not available where you are?

Online system is not available in Romania. There's only 3 AASP based in Bucharest ( see previously message ).

Called Apple and they said ipod may be replaced in replacement program but only in the same country where was purchased initially. Program conditions changed they said.

Mine was purchased from US long time ago. I can register online and send in US but only with a US adress for return. They wont return replacement to Romania.

Initially before calling Apple i was convinced that is a romanian scam because one of them (Noumax) asked 38 euro + VAT for replacing iPod. Surprisingly, not ! It's just another Apple scam.

Yes it comes in a sealed box with the iPod and the 30 pin adapter only.

Yes, it is a sealed box, but it is not the retail package. The accessories such as ear buds and interface cable are not included. If you receive a 7th generation iPod, it will include an adapter so you can continue to use you old USB interface cable.

Someone in Spain has received 7 generation ipod with the replacement program?

I have been waiting for almost 3 years to get my package to send my ipod back. I registered my serial with them back in 2011....never received a package to ship it back.

I tried to register again....wouldn't let me.

Very frustrating.
