Did the online form on Sunday December 7, received FedEx Expedite box on the 9th, sent back out FedEx Expedite same day, delivered to Apple this morning (today), and they already have it back at FedEx to be delivered tomorrow, the 11th. Not bad at all! 4 day turn around from form to delivery! Amazing service!! Thank you Apple! (Tough for me to say that as I am an Android/PC user)

Update: They sent me my new serial number. I searched it on here and it's a 7th gen!! Woooohoooooo

Returned mine to Apple on November 18 , received 7th generation I Pod touch on December 3rd

I think they are possibly refurb but come with Apple 90 day

New one is 16 gig the one I returned was only 1 gig and only held about 300 songs

Cant believe Apple changed something that was purchased in 2006, most iPods would be dead by that age anyway

Great Service

I didnt use my iPod more then half of year...and then, i had what to see!! Battery almost exploted, its soo big, and back part opened on one side, and i couldnt close it cause of battery...it still working, but i was suprised haw it looks! And i took it to servis, for the replacement program, and they told me that they have to see if almost "exploted battery" can be a "part" of replacement program...
