I am having the exact same issue. It worked the other day, and suddenly it seems to have stopped working.

I have tried reinstalling iTunes, ive even resorted to reinstalling my graphics card, since a few people had issues in the past and was to do with their graphics cards/drivers, yet this still does not fix the issue.

Maybe either iTunes needs to put patch out, cause I am betting it is just 64-bit windows 7/vista thats affected, either that or its all the versions of windows.

I'm in the same boat with all of you!! After hours of clean install and reinstall, Itunes starts up, but as soon as I go anywhere near the Store, you see the store try and load and I get the dreaded "The program has stopped working" message in Win7 64bit. It closes and I hit restart of Itunes, and try to go to my account, same problem all over.

I hope Apple fixes,this.

Same issue here. Windows 7 64-bit. I was able to access the store yesterday but then it started crashing every time I performed a search. Now the store won't even load and iTunes just crashes out. On the last version of the software I could make it crash every time by clicking on the "Purchased" link. iTunes also freezes up 50 times a day to think about something.

Well theres one thing for certain, if its literally everyone with a 64-bit version of windows with exactly the same problem, iTunes sales are gonna be down 😝

But yeah on a serious note, I have asked a few of my friends with 64-bit windows too and they are all having the exact same problem as us! They all have Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit as do I. Now I wonder what versions of Win 7 and vista you guys are using cause I bet it might be a conflicting issue with one of the ultimate features we all have, IF we all are using a Ultimate version of windows. If not, then something else maybe wrong...

My iTunes is frozen the moment I try and open it. I am running a one year old laptop with Windows 64-bit 7 Home Premium. I did purchase iTunes Match yesterday and might possibly think that there is a coincidence between that purchase and the fact I have not been able to open iTunes since. If anyone gets word from Apple, please make sure to post the fix here. I will keep trying to load the program, but will not hold my breath.
