iTunes match made my music "Clean"

I uploaded albums to iTunes from CDs that weren't censored to be clean, they were all explicit and no words were beeped out. Yesterday, I decided to upgrade those songs (smart playlist of less than 256 and icloud has it matched, then delete and redownload), but the versions iTunes redownloaded were clean and words are beeped. Is there any way to get my originals back or the explicit version back? Its really annoying to listen to a song and have half the words beeped out.

I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!! It's so frustrating when I'm trying to get my pump on in the gym,... and then the beeping begins with the ne "clean" versions itunes match and icloud made. Hahaha. But seriously. That and the whole, being able to delete songs on your ios device after you've downloaded them from icloud. I hope Apple cleans this mess up soon, I'm rarely let down by them... but this, this is unacceptable. Especially because I'm paying for the product.

I share everyones frustration!!!

I ripped Common's new album "The Dreamer / The Believer" and all songs were explicit on my macbook. After Match did its thing I went to download on my 4s and all was clean but album artwork had the "explicit" label?!?!!

this frustrated me so much I deleted the song "Sweet" off my iphone and macbook AND off the iCloud. I then went to itunes store on my macbook and purchased the explicit version of "Sweet" downloaded to macbook and auto download to iphone.

BINGO, explicit on Macbook AND iPhone. I feel played paying for match, album (+ $1.29 for a song i already bought explicit).

Also,

Some songs that were matched get 90-99% complete downloading to my iPhone then just stops. Anyone else experience this, or better yet, have a fix?

Go to iTunes on your computer and in each explicit song you need to right-click it, click Get Info and after the song name put the word Explicit or Explicit Version in brackets.

The easiest way to navigate is by typing the word explicit or explicit version, copying it and pasting it after the song name, click Next at the bottom of the window and paste it in the same box, do this for each explicit song then click on Advanced in the iTunes window and Update iTunes Match, this should work.

For best results i would suggest you do a maximum of 20 song changes before updating iTunes Match, just tomake sure it works as when i did it iTunes only accepted a few until i updated in small bunches.

try to ensure the word Explicit or Explicit Version appears in brackets after the song name, iTunes should then Match this with the explicit version of the song.

As for the downloading of your songs try to do them in small numbers, possibly up to 5 song downloads at once, it does take time so you need to be patient.

If you're still waiting for them to download after 10 minutes or so i suggest doing a full cool off and reboot of your internet connection, modem/router and device. By this i mean disconnecting the device from wi-fi, unplugging modem/router and switching your device off, leave all off for at least 3 minutes before restarting.

Adding explicit or explicit version doesn't work at all. Beastie Boys - "Hey F@@k You" has been changed to a clean version, yet three tracks down, "All Lifestyles" has not been changed and still has the same awesome "bad words" that are honked and scratched out of the first song. What the eff? I'm not paying for songs again, jerks. Fix it, please!
