Hi,
I have been trying to figure this out for a while, but the birthday calendars on my phone just keep duplicating. I am not up to five. I know I can just untick them, but there should only be one and I would like to know why they just keep adding on. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Want to add that I also have this problem. Currently looking at 22 Other Birthday calendar events. I've removed icloud calendar sync, I've deleted every birthday appointment in all calendars (nothing appears whne I have only these calendars showing), I've gone through all contacts and no one lists birthdays.

Have always had some issue with birthdays in contacts. I do not use it and simply put birthdays on my busycal.
IMO it's just much eaiser to manage and there are no calendar issues.
Yep. Still having this same problem with no known fix. So frusterating.
I am now at 78 other birthday calenders. A fix would really be appriciated
There'sa fix. It is easy but a pain - restore to factory settings and then rebuild. Do not restore from a backup as you'll just restore the corruption, but wipe it out and rebuild: add your apps, add your music, set up your email and calendars and everything will be fine. I wish there were an easier solutoon, and a searched for weeks, but this works and is well worth the couple of hours of pain
There's a good chance iOS 6 will fix it, so you might want to just wait until then since rebuilding will cause you to lose app data.
I just upgraded to IOS6 and my extra birthday calendar is gone. YEAH!!!!
I only had one extra so I would be curious to hear from others that had more, but I suspect this has been fixed in IOS 6.
Upgraded to ios 6 on an iphone 4s, I have two "other" "birthday" calendars. I turned off Facebook sync with both Calendar and Contacts. I turned OFF the toggle allowing Calendar and Contacts to use the Facebook App. I have zero Contacts and zero Calendar entries, but yet I have two birthday calendars. I should be able to click on the edit calendar button and delete them.
Yeah, I have the same problem. Upgraded to iOS 6 and still have "birthday" calendar that cannot be deleted. I ried syncing and not syncing. Still no ability to delete the additional calendar.
So apparently the only solution is what David Schlesinger2 has - "restore to factory settings and then rebuild...everything".
