When I try to update my apps or download apps I get this message saying "There is not enough available storage to download these items. You can manage your storage in settings." But when I go to usage it says I've only used 13.4 GB used and I have a 16 GB iPad 2.

Once I deleted a few (20-30) photos, I had 2.1 GB free and was able to install the app that had previously been giving me that space error.
Good call, it fixed the problem, but the issue of the storage still remains. All in all this works! Thank you
Did you ever figure this out? I've done all the updates. I have 4.8GB available on iCloud, and have 3.2GB available on my iPad 4th Gen. I am still getting this message.
I just bought 10GB of cloud storage. However, I keep getting the same message. Am I doing something wrong?
If you go to Settings>General>Usage, you can see how much space things are taking up and you can delete them from there.
There is not enough available storage to download these items.
