iPhone 4s keeps asking for the wrong Apple ID

I am on my second iPhone 4s. The first one had a faulty microphone (delay) and it was replaced by the Apple store and restored via the iCloud backup. But soon after it was restored, I noticed that anytime I plug the phone into my computer, and occasionally at other times, right after syncing the phone asks me for my Apple ID password, but the Apple ID displayed is not mine. It IS, however, the Apple ID of my wife, but that ID is only used on her laptop, was never associated with my iTunes account, or with this phone. If I delete her account and enter mine and the password, it seems to accept it, but then asks for hers again immediately. All I can do is hit cancel. When it asks for it at random times it sometimes has the ID field locked, so I can't even try to change it.

Everywhere I look in the settings of my phone, I see my Apple ID (general settings, store settings, etc) not hers.

It is possible that I once plugged the phone into her laptop to charge it, but I'm not sure about that.

I've attached some pics to show you what I mean.

My first inclination is to restore teh phone from backup, but I'm worried it will restore whatever caused this glitch.

This is more of annoyance than anything, but it is really annoying.

I kept receiving an update from a previous apple id download which I did not have the password for. What I did to resolve this problem was sync my Iphone to Itunes on the laptop, go to apps, on the left side listing all my apps to remove or install, it did not show the app that kept wanting to update. However on the right side that displays the phone page of apps, I turned to the page that had the app which wanted to update and there it was. I highlighted the app and pressed delete. The app deleted. I then re synced my phone and exited out of Itunes. When I opened the app store on the Iphone there were no apps waiting to be updated.

I do not have the option to put in my apple id. I am trying to update an application and it is asking for my coworkers apple id. This is an application we use for our time clock. I have tried the following:

turning off icloud back up

deleting my apple id in the phone and reentering

restaing the phone/rebooting

loggining out of itune store in my computer

If anyone can help please do.

I usually am the one people ask but this has me stumped😕

I have a problem also, Ive been using an android phone for a while and it broke. I went and found my iphone 4S that i havnt used in over a year. When i turned it on, it connected to itunes, there was the update to ios 7+ and i accepted. When the phone came back on, there is an activation lock on it with a gmail thats not mines. But itunes on my computer still recognizes it and shows up. How can i fix this. It doesnt sync to the account, though it does show all the backup, restore and all the others. thx

unless you have updated your AppleID on the account..

If you created a new AppleID (instead of updating your old account), then eyes, you will need to download using the new account.

That's because when you downloaded them you used that old ID. Needless to say, you'll lose all the info (e.g. your pics in Instagram), but I see no way out. Yup, it s ucks.

No, that's not the only way.

If Apple ID 'XYZ' pops up when you're trying to update an app, then use the password to the Apple ID 'XYZ'. Don't remember that password? Go to iforgot.apple.com to reset it.

I have apps/content from three different Apple IDs on my device. When I need to update an app, I simply use whatever password it asks for.
