That's what I got as well. I was surprised when I opened the box and saw this tiny little thing, but now I love it! And I love that it has a radio and the other features as well. I was going to throw away my old iPod as I no longer used it, but now I'm glad I didn't 🙂 I love this new little one and my car has an iPod connection, so I can leave this one in the car as it's so tiny it will fit anywhere 🙂

Just a word of caution about this recall. I sent my fully functioning Nano to be replaced as requested and received back the new 6th generation Nano. Unfortunately after just 1 week, it doesn't work properly. It just turns itself off after 2 minutes or so of play. When I went in to the Apple Store, I was told there was no warranty on my new Nano because it is part of the replacement program. The best they would do was allow me to purchase another Nano for $65.00. So basically, I send them back something that works, they send me something that doesn't and they expect me to pay them $65 to fix the problem. I was not happy. I thought Apple was better than this, but apparently I was wrong.

I got the 6th generation one as well. But I ordered the iwatchz strap for it, and it doesn't fit. Am I doing something wrong? The directions on the iwatchz strap say to press the bottom left corner to lift the clip, but my clip has to be pressed on the right, and even if I try to put it on the strap upside down, it doesn't fit. It will only slide half way, then it hits the clip and stops. Are there two different 6th generation iPods? And is the watch strap only for newer ones, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,

Carole

I'm sure everyone received their replacement nano, and left this discussion long ago. Still, I thought I'd post an update of the status of my clain. I originally sent my request on November 12th. It turns out, FedEx sent the first shipping box to the wrong address, then held it at one of their facilities before returning it to Apple. FedEx was also unable to deliver the box on the second request.

Turns out the third time was the charm. They delivered the box (a little damaged, but usable), I returned my iPod nano. Today, 4 months and 8 days from my original request, I received a beautiful, silver, 6th generation replacement nano. Apple was a great help through all of this. FedEx was pretty awful.

Well, at least it was only the shipping box that was screwed up. Apple sent my husband's replacement Nano to him & FedEx delivered it to the wrong address which was a street several blocks away. When my husband called FedEx he was given the name of the person who signed for it & was also told it was delivered to the front desk. This is a totally residential area!! FedEx tried to pick it up 3 times with no luck. I called Apple Care & they are now handling the claim. We should have the replacement in a couple more weeks. Apple was great but FedEx was terrible.
