Hrmmm, I don't think you will be able to solve any of the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm generally not a very big fan of the reduced availability of info and controls in the UI. I'm the geek who leaves Activity Monitor running in the dock so I know if my computer is working to hard. The dissapearance of the status bar is definitely one specific thing I've complained about, but I don't think I could come with more specifics unless I was using it at that moment.
But some other complaints:
Biggest one is that I have to select and input the password for my WiFi network every time I login or wake the computer. Obviously, this is a bug, but it has been a very persistant one. If think you can help there, here is the post: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3519568
Address Book and iCal I hate. I guess I'm the sucker for still using the things, but I have been very happy with them up until now. iCal is mostly fine (though I need a few extra clicks to get at some stuff), but Address Book is a real turd. And they both look terrible, but I wouldn't care if they still worked fine.
iCloud won't sync iWork documents between Macs and iOS devices. Bought Lion with that specific functionality in mind.
Lion isn't a total loss. I like restoring programs at login. I like autosave. I like Mission Control. The new Mail is kind of a wash, with some good and some bad. I have never had so many problems and dissapointments with an Apple product though. I'm usually the guy poopooing the complainers. Lately though, Windows 7 has seemed a lot rosier.
