iTunes Match not showing all artwork on iPhone

exactly the same situation for me. Only the first song in a complete album seems to have the artworl.

I have exacty the same problem. I spent a long time ensuring all my library was perfect, as soon as I uploaded to iTunes Match, only the artwork shows on the first track of each album. This is not good at all and it needs fixing asap.

Hi, same thing to me. When you listen to next songs, it copy the artwork. But it doesn't work all the time. But sometime, I don't event have the artwork for the first song... Boring !

hey guys, i just buy the itunes match yesterday, after matched all of my local music, the ablbum photos, titles of the songs , all remain the same as the old ones, just changed to AAC 256kbs format. so is there anyone knowing about this, thanks

Mine is the same, only shows for the first song in the album. Well annoying!

Every album I import, I spend the time to assign a cover to all songs in that album, highlighting all, get info etc...it's one of the coolest looking features of iPhone / iPod / iPad.

Also I've noticed my iPhone, when playing music and locked and I wake the screen, doesn't show anything at all, even if it's the first song in the album, just the normal wallpaper.

I want it fixed.

it's a bit long winded, and it does mean substituting 256kbs files for my usual 320kbs in some cases, but your method is the ONLY one of many i've tried that actually works.

I still have this problem. Have tried suggested fixes but album art it still intermittent. I bought some new stuff from iTunes, even that doesn't show the artwork for all songs except the 1st one.

You don't have to load every cover from the internet. Simply open the information panel on a single song, not on the whole album, then click on 'Cover' on the top right. There should be the cover, if you've had one before... Just click on the cover, so it's highlighted in blue and proceed with 'OK'. Worked in my case, but no fix for the missing artwork on my iPhone though.

I've found a solution, that worked just fine for me. I've disabled iTunes Match on my iPhone (Settings -> Music), then turned it back on again and synced my iPhone with iTunes via cable. Done.

Worked for me !! Even if it double some of my playlists. Just had to erase them. Thanks !

Just press 'Sync' at the bottom, it's not in a tab. 😉

I tried this, seems to have added all the album covers again for each song (I saw iTunes list through the updates to the device) but now whenever I open Music on my 4S, it is constantly showing the rotating wheel as if it is connecting to the internet...

What's it doing?
