seems to be a pretty steady pattern here. icloud mail is down (again). Can't access it at all now, and througout the day its been spotty at best.
Apple, what do you say about fixing this once and for all?

Yep, down for me too here in Sydney Australia.
I've just migrated all my mail from GMail to iCloud so this is something I've not had to deal with in the past. Very concerning!
Out here in the U.S. NW left coast as well. Sometimes you get what you pay for...although my luck with MobileMe and now iCloud is much, MUCH better than Comcast!
I'm also having issues with my email accounts on my regular ISP's mail server (FiOS) so I'm wondering if this isn't wider spread?
We have Gmail for almost two years too...they've had similar issues as well.
I haven't had a single problem with iCloud since launch day. Today, however, Mail is down... Whats up Apple?

I'm actually having the same problem as well. I'm with Bell but like you cannot access my mail from them too!

Steve Jobs mocked MobileMe as not being 'Apple finest hour'. Well yes, we had to pay for MobileMe, but quirks and all, it was more reliable than iCloud. Seems 'free' also means 'works when it feels like it'.
I'm really getting tired of having to continually wait for the Apple mail service to come up all the time. Can we have at least ONE day without it going down? Yep, we're down in Seattle. Arrrrgh!

You get what you pay for. Oops. Seems sometimes ya don't. Like right now. You would think with that mega data center there would be some backup system. Not Happy!
