Hi!


I have my mom's old mac book air, and I want to format it (erase all it's information) so it stays like it was when it was brand new. how can I do that please help me!

MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Niel - I need to access two websites requiring Internet Explorer. I was told the best thing I could do would be to purchase Bootcamp. I was reading an archieved post of yours and I believed I needed more detail. I would like:


1. Your thoughts on Bootcamp

2. Is it something that should be downloaded or purchased?

3. Are you [like] a Bot? 😉

muchita86: Yes. While there is technically one other way of doing it, it's easier and cheaper to purchase the two OSes.


hannasmiles: If those sites absolutely need Internet Explorer to work and you have no other reason for using Windows, you're best off trying Wine or CrossOver Mac, and if those don't work, using VirtualBox to run Windows in emulation.
