Follow these instructions:
Turn off Lost Mode or change your contact info
You can turn off Lost Mode by entering the passcode on the device, or by following the steps below. You can also follow the steps below to change the contact information displayed on your lost device.
Note: If your credit and debit cards for Apple Pay were suspended because you put your device in Lost Mode, when you turn off Lost Mode and sign in to iCloud, you can resume using your cards.
If you don’t see Find My iPhone on iCloud.com, your account just has access to iCloud web-only features. To gain access to Find My iPhone and other iCloud features, set up iCloud on your iOS device or Mac

I lost my iPhone I used my sons found to find my iPhone but it was died once I found it a few hours later it started beeping saying I call this number which was my number if found so I charged the phone but it's locked with a six digit passcode where do I get this pass code cause I didn't have one on phone
I know this is an old thread but in case it helps someone - I thought I had lost my iPad, so I locked it using the Find My iPhone app. I found it a couple of days later. It’s EASY to unlock. Mine had charge left in the battery, but if not, plug it in. As soon as it opens to the “This iPad was lost, Call this number (number shown)” screen, press the homekey. You’ll get the screen that asks for your access code. Enter it, and you’re good to go.
Not sure what you are asking here. If you remotely locked your lost iPhone, then until you have it in your hands, or until someone you know has it, why would you want to unlock it? Once you physically have the phone in hand, then you would just type in the remote lock password you set when you enabled the Remote Lock....
AFAIK, once a remote lock has been initiated, it cannot be undone until you have physical possession of the phone.
Hi, same issue for my device. I got my lost iphone, and I know the password. how to unlock it now... Help me Thanks
I'm having the same problem. I have the phone in my hand but it doesn't turn on to type in the pass code. How do I unlock it??
Guys, when you locked your iphone from "find my iphone" application, you can also unlock it when your phone is in your hands. how? settings-general-passcode lock ( you should type the password that you want to remove)- turn the passcode off ( type the password again)
so, you have unlocked your phone;)
Thank you!
I feel the original question wasn't fully understood. What I wanted to find out was how do you disable the requirement of entering a four digit code to access your iPhone every time you want to use it after you've found your iPhone. The answer, as inferred but not--to me--explicit above, is (I'm a neophyte): go to Settings>General>Passcode Lock, enter the four-digit code (again) and touch Turn Passcode Off and enter the code yet again. You should then be able to exit your iPhone and re-enter without the four-digit code.
Done.....thank you very much!
Ok in my situation I lost my iPad and then set it up to remote lock. Now that I have reported the theft to the police, they have asked me undo the remote lock so that they can find the pad. So I guess if this cannot be undone, then the person who has the iPad cannot get on wifi so basically the Pad is gone and theres no way to find it. This should be explained in the help for Find my iphone. The police have told me that they don't remember a case where the item wasn't found if left unlocked. Sooner or later the person gets online. Up until this point I had hope of getting the Pad back.
This is our exact situation. I thought it was best to lock the ipod that we lost but if we had a way to unlock again, we could actually FIND it when the person who took it eventually tried to connect to wifi. This should be explained when "lock your device" is chosen in "find your iphone".
Need to know if it can be found with remote lock on,it is missing.
Thanks for these posts. I now understand that my stolen iPhone is locked until I get it back in my hands. I have also discovered that it is very easy for a thief to get by the lock (Youtube videos show just how to do it.) It also appears that by locking the phone, you can no longer track it to recover it. This absolutely should be clearly explained, as a warning at the time you are trying to take action on iCloud. You also don't seem to be able to get the history up so you can show the last known whereabouts of your phone. ***?
