Hi there, my mum lost her phone, it did not have a code, i activated find my phone and now have it in hand but there is a 6 digit code which i didnt put on and have no idea how to unlock, can you help?

Sorry, but you need to explain what you are referring to. You cannot turn on Find My iPhone after you have lost the phone. Are you saying that you turned it on before it was lost? And what do you "have in hand"?

Are you saying you found the phone? And that you put it in Lost Mode via Find My iPhone prior to finding it?

Please elaborate.
