WaveBurner discontinued?

Just curious if WaveBurner is now discontinued or if it will be added to the App Store? Amazing product. One of the main reasons I use Logic. Would hate to loose this.

I LOVE Waveburner. I purchased the Logic Suite primarily for Waveburner. I tried Peak, WaveLab, and many other mastering programs and Waveburner is by far the most intuitive. If Apple doesn't want it anymore, I sure hope they sell it to somebody who can further develop it. I used CD Architect back in the PC days, and although it is nice, it didn't have VST support, only DX support, so I couldn't use my really nice mastering plug-ins. All my nice Plug-ins have AU support, so they work great in Waveburner. If apple sold it separately, I think they would be surprised how many they could still sale. Like others have stated here. CD's still have years to go before they are dead. New bands and artists are still selling CD's.

PLEASE APPLE! (not that I really matter to them)

Dear Friends,

I have Logic Pro on my imac. Recently, the Wave burner stopped working. I called support and was asked to play the logic in the trash and reinstall. In the resettlement wave burner was not installed and I am now without him. The support can not solve my problem and claims that discontinued the product and that would not have a copy to offer me. Absurd because I bought the product with WaveBurner. Someone would send the file to wave burner for my address or know where to download the program? Thank you.

Hi there,

I also purchased and downloaded Logic Pro 9 from the app store. Works great. And apparently WaveBurner is installed on my Mac ... But I can not find it anywhere!! I tried downloading the update listed here - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL956. But it tells me my version is up-to-date .... still can't find it on my Mac though.

Can anyone guide / direct / suggest where I should look.

... I't's probably right in front of my nose!!!

Thanks in advance for your help.

🙂

Waveburner is discontinued, it does not come with the Mac App store version, it only came with the Boxed Logic Studio set costing $499.
