Yep, this fixed my problem. Closing the programs did it.

Experienced the same problem. Here's what resolved it:

- shut down all open apps

That did it.

I turn my phone off and then on. That always works for me.

Tech support is a hoax. You are better off just seaching the internet for your answer. I am doing that now. It seems to always work faster and better than picking up the phone or chatting with a low paid tech support person. Just my opinion, of course.

I have an IPhone5: Here is what solved the problem for me:

Activate Sire (press on hold the home button), use the volume control buttons on the side of your phone to increase the volume.

Solved.

The same thing happened to me. I shut the phone off and turned it back on and then it worked!
