Changing Audio Language in Netflix (Latin America)

I am currently trying to watch Transformers: Dark of the Moon, however the default language is French. You can't change language tracks on an Apple TV? What the **** is that?

Hey guys, i have a fix

i called netflix with their 24 hour number and the problem is that for some movies the company gave them the HD sound in a different language, so on apple tv it plays in HD which is different then computer

when i called they just changed it to SD sound on their end and now everything is fine and its in english instead of french for me so try that out

just wanted to help out cuz i just got mine fixed

The problem seems to be that ATV 3 is picking up the best possible av quality by default. I went to my netflix account on the web and, in the "manage video quality" settings, changed it to better from best. and this solved the issue.

Now my tranformers movie plays in english on my apple tv.

ok guys I just found out how to fix this.

First of all you have to be aware of what languages are available on the movie but in order to change language OR subtitles on your movie, you play the movie, and then PRESS AND HOLD the SELECT BUTTON and a menu feature will appear that will display audio and susbtitles options.

from there on just select and play on!

When I hold down select I don't get any language options. I live in Canada and often get French audio for movies. I don't speak French. Makes Netflix ******* useless. Apple, time to sort out this ****. Been going on for WAY too long. You are getting lazy.

EVERYONE! My friend and I sat here and figured it out...this works for both Netflix and iTunes shows/movies. Hold down the select button on the Apple remote once the video is playing. This will bring up different options like languages, subtitles, and chapters.

Stop trying to answer this.

This used to be a problem with the apple tv, it wasnt possible to choose the audio and subtitle options but that was fixed about a year ago.

I know this post is old, but just in case someone has the doubt and end up in here like I did, the language can be changed by pressing and holding select while watching a video. Select is the one inside the circle.
