I dunno what I am doing wrong, but I am not experienceing any of the problems that are being mentioned here.

ie. No problem with auto on the multi audio instruments. ie Vol on different channels is working fine here. (channelized midi data) Make sure the Multi AI has Midi 'all' selected in the parameter box for the object.
No SIDS problem.. gee I haven't had any problem like this since the ES2's filter used to pop and cutout. Note, that I also have the NI Komplete 3 bundle and use the insts regualarly.... well nearly every day! inc weekends!

As far as cusomizing your environment is converned, it shouldn't get in the way of creativety, as you can save the envs as aprt of your templates.

To be honest, I can't believe how much complaining about L7 there is. I mean, the app has never been better than it is right now. Sure, there are plenty of bugs to keep the data heads busy, but I mean, it has never been more usable.
Note : I have not had a single crash since installing 7.2.

What kind of crashes were you having before 7.2?

The instrument drop out problem is intermittent in the extreme.

Some days I will have to stop the whole shooting match and reboot everything. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes it dogs me and then there will be weeks where it just isn't there anymore and everything is peachy.

Do you have any of your samples on a firewire drive?
What is your main computer configuration that you use?

I would love to figure out what might be the culprit.

I didn't say I was having crashes before 7.2! In fact, I can't recall having any issues in 7.1.1, however, I remember 7.0 & 7.1 being a little unstable, but I was having the same issues as everyone else.

Earlier in the thread, I referred to there being some RAM issues when I first got my G5 quite sometime ago. This did cause instability, but swappng it out, resolved basically everything.
