App download buttons not working.

iPhone 3GS.

Whenever I go into a specific app in the app store, none of the buttons work properly.

1) clicking on the price no longer downloads the app,

2) the ratings button does nothing,

3) the 'tell a friend' and 'git this app' buttons jump back to the top of the app window,

4) pictures usually don't show up. They usually appear as five gray rectangular boxes with white borders (though in one app one too-large-for-the-window picture shows up (see pic),

5) the 'app support' button still goes to the developer's website.

6) the 'top in-app purchases' banner is just text now.

Has anyone experienced this?

Same problem from Italy with iPhone 3G, iOS 3.1.3, I suspect Apple is breaking bridges between newest versions and the oldest ones, but it's not fair. Same reason for those with iPhone 3G stucked with iOS 4.2.1 that can't downgrade to 3.1.3 to have their phone back as it was when they bought it. And because I'm out of warranty, Express lane force me to pay (correct me if I'm wrong), but I want this issue fixed without additional costs, it's Apple fault, why do I have to pay for this? Apple, you don't really know what customer care is, at all. And customers will become aware of this.

Hi,

I encourage you to post a case on https://expresslane.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.do

You can do it even your iPhone is out of guarentee

You should have an apple account, that's it.

I did it (Case ID: 273226209) by also given the URL of this thread.

More we are do this with explanation more we have some chance to see Apple figuring out this.

Good luck
