App download buttons not working.

iPhone 3GS.

Whenever I go into a specific app in the app store, none of the buttons work properly.

1) clicking on the price no longer downloads the app,

2) the ratings button does nothing,

3) the 'tell a friend' and 'git this app' buttons jump back to the top of the app window,

4) pictures usually don't show up. They usually appear as five gray rectangular boxes with white borders (though in one app one too-large-for-the-window picture shows up (see pic),

5) the 'app support' button still goes to the developer's website.

6) the 'top in-app purchases' banner is just text now.

Has anyone experienced this?

iPhone 3GS, iOS 3.1.3

Yes, it is true, after near one week after, the AppStore works again in our "old" 😉 iOS3 devices.

I think that Apple proof us,... now the question is until when will they keep the backwards compatibility for us? 😮

Actually the "Update" button still doesn't work.

To update an app, you need to search it in the App Store and re-install it.

That's true,... that happens since months ago,... and I don't think that Apple will solve it now 😟.

Ok, now problem is SOLVED, thank you for the fix (a bit slow indeed as previously reported). By the way, we are the real power, just remember it, for everything, and if we don't behave like sheeps, we are strong and we can protect each other. Happy Christmas for everyone.

Yes. I too facing the same problem. Only the UpdateAll button works. Not able to download the new apps..!!

Now works Featured section and Update/Install/Free buttons, except icons of the Apps in the store, and Featured highlight images doesnt have rounded corners, so it looks little ugly and not "Apple like".

great stuff, it now all apears to be working, both downloading 3.x appts & updating individually or update all.

thanks apple, though a response to our questins we sent would have been helpful (even just a "we are aware of the problem & attpemting to resolve it" would be nice)

Just got an original Itouch off a buddy for my son, and of course can;t download ANY apps for him. He just wants angry birds and the what not. Says I need iOS4 to get them. Any help?

There are several versions of Angry Birds. Some of them are only for iOS4.0+ and some are for all.

Example:

I can not download any new apps and my app store button disappeared completely. So everyone else seems to be talking about how theirs is fixed but mine has not. What am I suppose to do now. I have the iOS 3.1.3. upgrade on my 1st gen iPod touch. I am frustrated and getting very upset considering this iPod was purchased as a gift for my 4 1/2 year old to stop the fighting for my 13 year olds new one. I refuse to spend $200.00 on an iPod for a little girl. What do I do? 😟

At the Appstore if I go to look at the info about any app, in any category,

the top left "back" or INFO button disappears right before your eyes. I sent

a screenshot to the iTunes reps but they have dropped the ball- many times-

for six months running. This effectively means the Appstore is no longer

supporting iOS 3.1.3 and it should be highlighted in at the Appstore- correct?

Guys i need some help my Iphone system is not working properly, applications are not working and not even connecting to the internet, even if i need to make updates for the application is not connecting ((CANNOT CONNECT TO iTUNES STORE)) and it was working in yesterday.
