there is no "info" tab anywhere in my itunes. its 2016, baby.

Syncing with iTunes and Outlook is still done in a similar basis. It is still Info, but it is not a tab as it was in the past, it is in the left sidebar after you have selected the icon for the device. For a device running iOS 10.x, make sure that you are using the latest version of iTunes, 12.5.1. The question and poster that you replied to wrote that in 2011. You would have been better served by creating your own thread, rather than tacking onto a thread from 5 years ago. Then you could have just asked your question, without the remarks.

Here is another and faster solution - still no cost

1. Download Outlook for iOS

2. sign in with your MS Outlook 365, Exchange settings (if corporate based get server/domain info from admins)

3. Once account added goto iOS Outlook's Settings (bottom right-hand corner), select Advanced, select Account, Copy Contacts to Device = ON (an estimate of your contacts to be copied shows up before the slider switch).

4. Done, wait and completed:

All fields will be shown mobile/tel/other/fax/email/email2/address/etc.
