I'm not sure why you're asking yourself that question......

Please stop now. There's nothing Apple can do and nothing anyone here can say to you that hasn't been said already, no matter how many times you ask. Any further questions you may have should be address to your government and that of the United States.

I wanted to tell this fact that it has happened to me and that clarifies which is the added value of who buys an Apple product. I had an iPhone 3GS that I had passed to my daughter and that, after three years of service, had the battery that did not hold the charge. So I have gone to the Apple Store in Rue de Rive in Geneve, where she momentarily resides for study, explaining the problem and asking for the substitution of the battery. At first they had said to me that they would have given a refurbished 3GS to the cost of 107 Swiss Francs but that I would have to take an appointment with the Genius Bar for this.

Having accepted the conditions I have taken the appointment with the Genius Bar online for the next month when I would have gone to visit my daughter.

With my great surprise they have given to me a refurbished iPhone 4 to the cost of 79 Swiss Francs. Therefore, with 66 euros( I am italian) now my daughter has an iPhone 4 with a new battery that will go ahead still for some years. So I have made a good investment when I bought my 3GS that has cost to me less than if I had bought another smartphone at a lesser price. Moreover in these years it has not never had a problem.

Unfortunately, when my daughter return in Italy she found that the iPhone 4 they gave to her was locked, so it doesn't work with an Italian SIM card, while my old 3 GS was unlocked and worked well in Italy, in Switzerland and in USA. They don't tell this to me when they changed the iPhone, and now I don't know what to do to have an unlocked iPhone. Please help me!

I love apple because I am now able to use my computer and get it from a regular store just like everyone else. I'm totally blind and depend on a program that reads text on the screen. The text to speech program is called voice-over and is integrated on all macs, iPods, iPads, and iPhones. The screenreader is built-in to the operating system and is free because it’s included in the overall cost of the item. When i owned a PC provided by the school, I used a screenreader called Job Access wit Speech or JAWS and is only built for the windows operating system. However, you have to pay about $900 for the software in addition to the cost of a laptop or desktop computer.

When I had a PC and used jaws for doing my schoolwork and other leisure activities, it would sometimes freeze up and I had to restart the computer. If you don’t have the full version, you have to reboot the computer every 40 minutes which is a major inconvenience, especially if you have to take a long test or have a very important report to write. an upgrade can cost about $600 for the jaws program for windows, but for the mac, it is a small fraction of the price. With that said, I decided to use a mac for personal use. If i have to use a PC for work, that can now be accessible using that same screen reader like Jaws or another free screen reader like NVDA.
