I'm glad you found something to meet your needs and that Apple provided that. I hear some negative things about Apple but I love them also. It seems they have thought of so many things. I have an iPad and I am amazed at how much it does. I bought it as an ereader! My 5 yo to shiva laptop then quit on me and I have found my iPad does everything I needed a PCM for.

Even so, I am sure thinking seriously about getting a MacBook so I am perusing this section of the support forum.

Glad to hear you are enjoying your iPad 🙂

Another nice thing about Apple is their great service. There are some great people at the Apple Store and helpers on these forums.

I have a 10-year-old iMac that is just now starting to slowly die, 6-year-old MacBook and 2.5-year-old MacBook Pro and more, all running fine. If you get a Mac, I think you'll enjoy it.

how did this thread get to page 1 when the last post was a month ago

i smell an apple host bumping it back up

No, it's more likely that someone posted something that contravened the terms of use. That and the edit would have moved the thread to the top. You can tell that something was removed based on the "This thread was branched to a new discussion" at the top of the page. When the hosts remove something, it's first moved to a separate thread.

Might be time for a new tinfoil hat. The old one apparently has holes in it. 😉
