Go up to the main Safari menu (top left of your screen), go over to the Privacy tab, go down to "Cookies and other website data, and select "details." Look there, type in "Adobe" and delete all the cookies listed for them. Then immediately restart Safari. Try the adobe site again. Any better?
Bee,
I cleared all the cookies, but no luck.
Thanks,

That's OK, caribb51. So, you did remember to restart Safari afterward? Are you trying to log on to their site via a password? How are you accessing the site? Via a bookmark, or finding it via Google, or other search engine?
Yes. I restarted Safari. I typed in the url www.adobe.com using, Safari, Firefox and Chrome and still get "unable to open page"
Try turning off the router for about 5 minutes, then turn it back on.
If you have anti virus software installed, that could explain why you can't access the site via multiple browsers.
I did. Still no luck. I even connect to the net tethered to my phone, bypassing my normal isp, but still couldn't get to adobe.com
I also have no anti virus products installed.

Using 3G or your Wi Fi?
If you can access the Adobe site on the iPhone using 3G, not Wi-Fi, then it's your Wi-Fi network...
Open System Preferences > Network then click Assist Me then click Diagnostics.
If any of the buttons on the left are red click Continue.
Try disabling tethering on the iPhone to see if that makes a difference.
Tap Settings > General > Network / Internet Tethering
I was actually using 4G and was able to connect to my other sites with the exception of Adobe.
Please launch the Terminal application by entering the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search, and drag or copy -- do not type -- the following line into the window:
curl -I http://www.adobe.com
Press return. You should almost instantly get several lines of output below what you entered, the first of which begins with something like this:
HTTP/1.1
If there's no output within ten seconds, consider that a failure. You can then quit Terminal.
I ran the command and got the following: "curl: (7) couldn't connect to host"
Please launch the Network Utility application by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search. Select the "Lookup" tab and enter "adobe.com" (without the quotes) in the address field. Press return. Post the output -- the text, please, not a screenshot. Then select the "Ping" tab and do the same.

Could be a DNS problem. Try Open DBS:
Adding Open DNS codes to your Network Preferences, should give good results in terms of speed-up as well as added security, including anti-phishing and redirects) (Full information about Open DNS is here: http://www.opendns.com/home/nobloat )
If you are using a single computer: Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
(You can also enter them if you click on Advanced and then DNS)
Your DNS is OK. There is no need to change it and I don't recommend doing so.
Select Apple menu > System Preferences > Network > Advanced > Proxies. Are any of the boxes in that window checked? If so, uncheck them, save your changes, and try again.
