Was better with the usernames under the avatar

When you look at an avatar with a name under it, you process the whole thing as some person with whom you are communicating.

Removing their name and putting it in the cartoon box chops them up and makes this less intuitive.

Not the end of the world, but it worked better for me when it was clearer - here is this person (name, avatar, everything), and here is what they're saying.

Hi Klaus1,

I can.

In fact I used the last one's Breadcrumb menu to go "back" to the Community and then click the User Tips tab

https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/mac_os_x_v10.5_leopard?view=docum ents Which shows two items.

What I was trying to get across was that some things that were Users Tips under the Old Software (and in the relevant Forums) are in the User Tips Contributions as DOCS (i.e accepted Users Tips) but are not in the Community area they "belong" to.

I am still using Bookmarks that point to when each User tip was posted to a Forum that has effectively become part of what is now the iChat Community.

The one I have for Reinstalling iChat 3, 4 and 5 was posted in Snow Leopard (tagged for ichat_macosx_v10.6, mac_os_x_v.10.6)

The "Original" sits in Users tips with the Discussion that went with it.

Another is the one for iChat to PC Video Bookmark leads to the Leopard forum

A Search by the title gets me this (restricted to Users Tips)

One of those is This DOCwhich is in fact an Updated one from Last year !! (i.e I rewrote it and it was accepted as an Users Tip but is not in the iChat Community Tab for same)

I did warn this was a threadjack 😝

I also had a few user tips under the old system in the Aperture section. None of those were carried over to the User Tips tab of the Aperture community either,

It's almost 10 months now with the new system and still no word on when or if the user tips will be back. It was a good system and seemed to work and really filled the bill for the those constantly asked questions. I really hope they bring it back.
