In Preview, when I add text annotations to my PDF (lecture note slides), they look fine until I close it and reopen it, and then they are rotated 90 degrees. How do I fix this and keep it from happening again?
MacBook Air, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
Still a problem in 2016 with Yosemite. I also had made quite a few underlines (in addition to the text boxes) and ALL OF THOSE were moved and rotated as well. VERY ANNOYING!
I will start over and try some of the fixes suggested here, but this is totally unacceptable.
BTW, I don't use DropBox or have any of the other software suggested as conflicts.
Dear friends! According to my painful experience, you have to save every single markup when PDF is opened in Preview, othervise the risk of vertical markips is very high. No following rotation works. Just cntr+s every time. Warning: if you soloed down PDF in Preview quickly document may closed unexpectedly.
