In Preview, when I add text annotations to my PDF (lecture note slides), they look fine until I close it and reopen it, and then they are rotated 90 degrees. How do I fix this and keep it from happening again?

Still a problem in 2016 with Yosemite. I also had made quite a few underlines (in addition to the text boxes) and ALL OF THOSE were moved and rotated as well. VERY ANNOYING!


I will start over and try some of the fixes suggested here, but this is totally unacceptable.


BTW, I don't use DropBox or have any of the other software suggested as conflicts.
