The iPhone desperately needs missed call notification!

Before my iPhone 4s, I had a Motorola Clamshell phone. If I missed a call, it would beep few minutes to indicate that I had missed a call. Now with the iPhone 4s, I've received calls from work after hours, and missed several because of a lack of missed call notifications. My phone was just sitting there, and it wasn't until hours later I looked at the phone that knew I had missed a call.

I've read other threads on this issue, and know that there is not an app for that, since applications cannot access the private phone API. Bummer. I've read in some threads that not having missed call notifications is not a big deal, but I disagree completely. I'm an big Apple fan, and have in my house two iMacs, a MacBook Pro, two iPads, two iPods, and three apple TV's.

Is there an Apple "feature request" site where I could enter mssed call notification as a request, for this sorely missed feature?

For me, making the same repeating alert option in Messaging available in other apps, including the Phone app for missed calls. I like an audible alert myself.

I can see my answering machine blinking from across the room, as do most people I'm sure. I doubt you'd sell many answering machines if designed it so you had to walk up to it and hit a button just to see if there were an messages on it.

Turned to Samsung Note 4 because the of the simple small little LED that notifies me that I missed something and will be back as soon as it on an Iphone.
