How do I get rid of the Newsstand app?

i wish I was as lucky as you then Skydiver. I tried for a long time with the new update and I cannot get it to go into a folder anymore.

Thanks for the explanation. :) I personally would never even entertain the thought of changing the operating system of my iPad, and don't see why anyone would want to ruin their iPads like that.
