My Apple TV keeps saying "iTunes is currently unavailable. Try again later" after 23 seconds of playing a song through iTunes match!!! How do I fix it?

While reading this discussion my Daily Show went to the "unavailable" screen twice, been happening for a week or so.

I am having the same problem. When I watch tv shows that are purchased through iTunes every 10 minutes or so my apple tv will cut out to a black screen with an error message that says iTunes is currently unavailable. I just called apple and the tech told me that there were no known issues with iTunes. Had me do a reset on my apple tv. Also I updated my iTunes account on my computer. I'm hoping this works.

Nothing works, apple has to be more open and has to admit there is a problem with iTunes! It's not our network connection, or our devices!!

It's has to do with iTunes. Tv shows will breakup after 9 minutes, movie rental has no problems I can watch does without breaking up. YouTube or vimeo or radio, or streaming from pc it works!

Apple please fix this iTunes problem that started on jan 19 2012. I got 2 apple tv's and on both are the some problems.

I did a reset of my router, appletv even disconnect the cables nothing has fixed this problem.

Only apple can fix this!!!

I'm having the same issues with our Apple TV -- after a few minutes, it says "ITunes is currently unavailable." Please let me know if anyone hears of a fix!

I was very tempted to reply back to the expresslane tech that changing Dolby setting could not possible address this issue. In fact, i was composing the email in my head on my way home from wrok this evening.

Then I tried it, and it worked.

22 minutes of uninterrupted video.

Yhea!!!

It have no more problems! I can watch à show without does horrible 9 minutes LOL
