my new computer can't connect to adobe.com

Hello everybody i am not sure if this problem has to do with safari, but ever since i bought a new imac i have done averything successfully ecept connect to adobe.com or any other adobe link. my computer is the only one in the house that doesn't connect to adobe.com so i can research on my ipad, but trails and downloads won't work because you need to go to adobe.com on your mac. any help

Stop using "hacked" software. It blocks adobe via the hosts file. If you unncomment the adobe sites, your software will become useless and adobe will know you are pirating it. If you don't know what a hosts file is, there cant be anything you absolutely need that adobe makes that cant be found elsewhere. Also, many of Adobe's software suites are worth more that the dollar-ammount threshold where simple theft becomes a felony grand theft.

If you're accusing me of using pirated software, I'd be happy to send you my receipts for my monthly Creative Cloud membership. 😉


My entire point was that I wasn't blocking Adobe with my hosts file at all, yet I was still unable to reach any Adobe site -- thus Adobe's licensing utility could not authorize my legitimately licensed use.


And by the way, it's working fine for me now. I happened to switch from ATT DSL to ATT Uverse and that took care of the problem. The licensing is working fine now.
