I have a 2005 Power Mac G5 Duo 2.5 Gigahertz computer which will not boot up. When I turn it on, the power light does not light up, nor does it show a flashing light signal. Soon after the fans start up they become loud. I tried reseting the smu, installed new memory, zaped the PRAM, and gave it some time. Those things helped me before, But not now. PLEASE HELP ME!

Fixed. All i needed to do was the hair dryer trick. Thanks for all of the people referencing the trick.

System Preferences>Energy Saver, Options tab, bottom of that window, Processor Performance:.. try Reduced.
That did not work😟 Plus I am having some problums with the "Applefan.kwext" or somthing like that. Once the G5 is fully fixed, i will try to fix it.
Could rust from an leaky processor cooler cause this, besause I saw rust on the inner case, but when I looked at the cooler, it's not leaky.
Oh yes, quite likely, & many times there is no visible sign of any liquid.
Looks like I will need to dissasemble the computer in order to fix it. Can you show me any useful guides to help me with this?

I and giving up on the G5.😟 I had that thing for a while and it is time to give it up.😢 Maybe I will ask for a Mac Mini with the MacBook Air DVD drive for my birthday with will be coming in a couple months (4-13). 🙂
