Error 13019

I have read other discussions about this error but it won't go away. I have tried reinstalling itunes as well as unchecking both music and voice memos (of which i have none) and syncing and resyncing.

The strange thing is that on the lef tab, under my ipod, it says that all the music is on there, yet on the ipod itself it only syncs the apps!

PLEASE say someone can help, I've literally tried everything!

Thanks x

Hey Julian

When i tried syncing music today to my iPod Touch i got this 13019 error for the 1st time. I have the manually manage music option checked as i have collection of songs from different computers and iTunes. When i click on the music tab on my device and click on sync music, a warning popped up stating that it would erase all my music. I really dont want to erase my songs as has taken me years to collect them. If i follow your instructions will i be able to retain all the songs on my iPod or will I lose it?

Or, if I transfer these songs/files to my laptop and use the iTunes in that would it work or will i end up with the same error?

All help would be appreciated

Thanks

Shyam

I'd rather buy a new mp3 player (maybe one that supports the users) rather than delete anything or go through complicated software fixes I have no confidence in. What gives with this anyway? My Nano6 which I rarely use worked fine for over a year and then stopped syncing (error 13019-- who thinks up these codes up anyway? Grow up already) after the download of the latest iTunes version. Nothing changed but the version of iTunes so I have to assume-- aha!! must be iTunes right? Personally I get really tired of reading solutions from a bunch of anonymous "community" members.. All I want is APPLE TO SPEAK UP... Why am I not talking to an APPLE TECH PERSON? Is this really the future of computing?

Hi,

I am having this 13109 issue with only one of the 4 ipods we sync constantly. I tried everything I found online and then ran across your suggestions. I followed your instructions but when I re-open itunes all the music is still there. I went through it twice and cannot figure out where I am missing a step. I don't know if copying all the music elsewhere on my computer and deleting all the files in the itunes media will work and fix the problem. I already deleted the extra files in the itunes folder and am still getting the error. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
