Security Update 2012-001 crashing on PPC file dialogs

After installing the update AppleWorks and Eudora crash any time I try to access any kind of file dialog: Save, Save As, Open, etc. Do any of you have the same problem or a fix perhaps?

Double Extra Super Help PLEASE!!

I don't have Time Machine backup. I tried to reinstall the OS from the original disks that came with my MacBook. That took my OS back to 10.6.3. I still had the exact same problem! None of my Rosetta apps would launch. This suggests that the problem resides in some sort of settings file that the installer preserved when it re-installed the system. Any suggestions as to which one? Is there any way to do an Archive and Install with 10.6 so that I can totally trash the old system without having to completely erase my hard drive?

That fix didn't work for me. I'm getting the following report on console when attempting to run Filemaker 6.
