Apple-Feed does not show up in Collections as an option

While looking to add Collections to my district iTunes U, I have no option for an "Apple-Feed" RSS. I have attached a screen shot. Ideas?User uploaded file

Hi all,

So after roaming the desert alone for days, and reading this thread (and some additional info from johagan), here's how I got my site live.

Let me start by saying that, while I understand Apple's dedication to Collections, I happen to feel that Collections would be more useful on College and University sites, while I feel that my K-12 district will be using Courses almost exclusively.

That being said, in order to go live, we need to have 6 Collections, each with one "item". And since a collection page essentially just links to an RSS Feed, I needed to create 6 "dummy RSS feeds" and 6 items.

So what I did was just that.

I found this link- http://www.eiu.edu/iTunesU/files/iTunesUAdministratorsGuideChapter7_Managing_iTu nesU_Course_Pages.pdf

Page 100 shows how to create an RSS Feed (for those of you that have some HTML knowledge).

I created 6 HTML files (one for each of my buildings), and then the "item" pointed to 6 PDF files that I created that simply had each school's name and web address. I uploaded the 12 files to my school's website server, and entered the 6 HTML addresses as the Feed URLs in the Site Manager.

Voila! I was able to go live.
