Glad to see that! I'd like to at least see them address this soon with an answer on how long we can expect this to go on

i am having this issue as well....with me, i have a lot of my songs on one main computer with external hard drive, then i usually stream on my laptop so i dont have to download every song....and this has really screwed up...i just now signed up for itunes match recently..and was liking it...but this sure isnt a way to welcome a new customer..😐

I also recommend all of us with Twitter send a message to @itunesmusic -- if we can bring this to the attention of multiple communication channels, we'll have a better shot at getting this noticed right away.

I've contacted Apple Support via Espress Lane. This needs to be solved NOW, since we are dealing with one of the main features of iTunes Match which it ain't working!

When contacting Express Lane, make sure to mention that we've tried all of the easy-fix soltuions. So far all of our replies have just been saying that we should do something like restart our computer or turn iTunes Match off and then back on again. I have submitted this story to Mac Rumors as well.

So did I just now. Should be "interesting" to see how long Apple takes to respond with a fix.

Also sent a detailed email to Apple Support (for iTunes).

thinking the perceived tension in these situations is accentuated a bit by the undercurrent of "hmm, have they added something to the algorithims to detect my torrented stuff?" #JustSayin

Just chiming in with the obligatory "ME TOO" post!

Uploaded tracks just skip to the next track (without an error message).

Matched tracks are fine.

I've started having problems streaming videos from my Apple TV. I managed to buy a video from iTunes on one of my computers. I streamed it from iCloud on my Apple TV succesfully. Tried to play other videos on the Apple TV afterwards to no avail. This is REALLY starting to annoy me...

As of 5:53PM PST, my itunes can download the uploaded tracks again. Check yours, and make back up if you have not done so.

Mine's working now too! 😀

Hi,

I looked at this discussion when I started to have the error and i made me feel better that it wasn't only me who was struggling. I called apple support because my laptop is still new and so it is still free at the moment and told them about the error and that I wasn't the only one who was experiencing it. They did give me a few helpful tips how to work around it, but couldn't fix my original problem.

First if it is not working in one library create another one:

Shut down iTunes completly

Hold Option and click on iTunes icon on your computer

Click create new album

Call it whatever you want

Then there should be a new library with no songs or anything in it.

Go to iTunes match and start the iTunes match

All your songs should be there and start downloading

The error hopefully wont come up again....

This worked for me, I'm not too sure how everyone else will go. They are monitoring my account to see if it happens again. From the sounds of it she said that they had never had this error reported before so I don't think all those emails to apple support worked.

They are looking into it and i guess they will sort it out, otherwise no one will buy it!
