No Internet Radio?

I no longer receive internet radio listings? My Apple TV has internet access, (I can go to NetFlix and YouTube, etc) but when I go to the Internet Radio screen, all I get is a black, blank screen? What happened and what do I do to fix it?

I have radio on my computer, not the ATV2. On the other discussion threads the problem has been limited to ATV2. The problem seem to have begun about a week ago for most people. Restarting the ATV does resolve the issue, that was the 1st thing I tried repeatly before posting to the forum last week. On thread even has a telecom engineer with the same problem and he concluded the problems on Apple's end.

I'm new here but I'm beginning to figure out that rebooting the AppleTV fixes many things. To reboot:

Hold down both Menu and Down on the Apple Remote until the Apple TV

status light blinks rapidly.

If that doesn't solve the problem, the next step is to reset all the settings (yuck). That means you'll have to re-enter your wireless network password, Apple ID and password, Netflix ID and password, YouTube ID and password, etc., etc. Not fun:

Choose General > Reset Settings from the main menu on Apple TV.

Hopefully rebooting is enough to solve the problem.

I have the same problem. I have 3 latest generation Apple TVs. All have the latest update. Only one is on at a time, yet none lists internet radio stations after the general heading. Hit the "Blues" button and get a black screen that says "Blues". No radio station list appears anyomore on any of my Apple TV's. Everything else works fine. I've tried rebooting, reloading, etc. I've received no answer in these pages that has helped.

Hey, Sgt. Pinback. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have been trying for two days to get the radios to work on my Apple TV. Then I read your simple explanation--reboot--and it worked! I should have known. I reboot my computer when there are challenges.

I was worried that the jailbroken function might be gone after I rebooted, but no problem. I believe that a reset would erase the jailbreak, right?

However, I want to make a general statement. I really appreciate the unselfish help that people like you provide for people like me who know well how to ask questions on Google.

Thanks again.

Sgt Pinback. The radio works on my computer, which I rebooted a couple of times in th last month. I've also had the radio function come back on sporatically, tried the atv2 at a friends house, and had to reboot the ATV yesterday. Still no radio.

Stan, I made simliar changes to my ATV and restoring the ATV will eliminate those change. The JB is a censored word on the official forums. Regardless glad to hear someone radio is back

According to Apple engineer's acknowledgement of an issue with Apple TV radio, they state that they do not know when it will be resolved. My analysis is that either the latest Apple TV update introduced an unhandled error to the unit (considering the infinite Loading stations message occurring after resetting the unit, and only after choosing a station on the third attempt: nothing happens the first time; the second time takes you to a connection error), or the Apple radio servers were taken out by hackers, and Apple is rebuilding what may be hundreds of blade servers--but not until a security patch is available. This may all sound like malarkey, but I'm convinced it's not isolated to just the bloggers here. I am curious to learn what the radio media providers are doing about this?
