Interesting - Mac OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion"

Just saw this article this morning for the next version of Mac OS X code name Mountain Lion. It's interesting that this new version is slated for this summer and so soon after last summer's release of Lion.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

"Granted, I still won't "have" to use Twitter, but I'm going to be forced to see it all over."

so you have the dev seed? Can you tell me where "all over" is because I've only seen a twitter button as an option in the share menu of Safari, and I've been running 10.8 since it was released. It's integrated in iOS5 - AFAIK, I've only seen it in settings.

You think Apple's going to ruin their interface with 3rd party icons.. just like the "Intel Inside" stickers splattered all over their machines.. or all the bloatware that ships with OSX.. oh, and don't get me started on the ATT and Verizon crapware on iphones....

you will not see Twitter's icon in OSX unless you look for it.

Wow you certainly know how to share info you were not meant to. You have a developers page to post in and I'm pretty sure when you registered for and downloaded the dev copy of ML that you agreed to some fairly strict rules about sharing info in the public domain.

Pete

Well Apple have already made this public…

You can't disclose what is already public.

They mention sharing from Safari, Mail, iPhoto, Notes, Photo Booth. Presumably there will be similar buttons in iWork & third party apps. Seems like 'all over' is a fair comment, but it is hidden inside the share button dialog, so you don't have to stare at Vimeo & Twitter icons in every app.
