There is a real annoying boxing bell "ding" that sounds semi-randomly (it seems like its either upon opening a new page or download complete)) while using Safari. Someone please help me turn it off!!

if anyone else has this problem for whatever reason.. here is how to do it for any sounds with or without plugins
Go to system preferences
Click on Sound Options (the loudspeaker icon
then slide the 'Alert Volume (top volume slider) down to zero
