In Mac OS X You Must get that screen for Boot Camp Assistant. Because without that FIRST screen you can not go on to the second screen where you select how large the Windows Partition will be.
You are definitely missing something.
ok, so let's please go through this step by step to see what I am missing if you won't mind please? I open BCA, first screen I see is the "Introduction" screen with "Print installation and setup" and "Conitnue" options so I choose Continue, next screen is "Select Tasks" but instead of seeing the Windows support option, only 2 options showing are "Create or remove a WIndows Partition" and "Start the windows installer" and choosing either option does not show me the options we are seeking?

That is the problem I am having, I am not getting the screen in Boot camp assistant which gives that option as the other guy who is trying to help shows in his screenshot below, I did not see that option in either lepoard and Snow leopard, can you tell me please exactly which software you are seeing that option so we can try to narrow this down?
You don't have the option to download the support software because you told us you are running Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard does not have the download option. The support software for Snow Leopard is located on the Snow Leopard Install disk.
Read the Bootcamp Install Guides. Especially the one for Snow Leopard. http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/Boot_Camp_Install-Setup_10.6.pdf
well, thanks for this info, seems I was minformed, situation is I purchased this "used" mac about a week ago from a local IT Company here in Manhattan who was selling this for one of their clients who upgraded to a Macbook Pro and I did not get a disk with it becuase they said the owner could not find the disk, my macbook came with leopard and seeing that the BCA windows support option wasn't there I went back to them to ask for a disk and they gave me a snow leopard disk so I installed that but since it was not an "original" disk, that has to be why the option still isn't on this OSX. I had asked in my other thread if I were to purchase Lion directly from apple as a "download" would I both get the BCA software and also a license for fuutre downloads if I should ever need it and I was told YES but now from what you're saying I will need the actual disk and not the donwload to get the BCA windows support software, is this correct please?
Thanks Bob I forgot about the support software in Snow Leopard.
100% correct.
would any of you guys know for sure if the downlabIe version will not work so I will need the cd for sure?
If you are using Snow Leopard you need the install disk "for sure".
ok, thanks, since I have to purchase the disk I may as well purchase lion. I will get back here after I get the disk, will take a few days for me to recieve it sinc I will look online for it so can I ask you guys to PLEASE stay tuned to this thread?

Start a new thread when you get Lion or whatever you end up with. This thread was started by someone else and has been marked solved. Besides, this thread has become convoluted with diffrent operating systems, environments, and is just hard to follow.
Understood, will do, thanks guys, I appreciate your help!
Don't buy that. You can get the same thing from Apple for $20.
What you should do is call Apple and order a set of Original Replacement System Discs. Cost about the same as that eBay listing. And if you Mac came with Snow Leopard that upgrade DVD may not work as they are all 10.6.3 or earlier. Your Mac may need 10.6.6 or .7
PLEASE Start your own Thread.
ok, new thread is here, thanks for advice, lots cheaper:
Alright guys, all went like clockwork thanks to the help of both you guys here, BCA windows support installed in windows and I did not even have to configure anything, the rightclick works, the support you guys have given me is amazing, I really appreciate it, THANK YOU!
Thanks Bob
