Finally fixed 😀 woke up this morning and found the card was accepted, now I can clear off that silly arrears and get back to wasting more money on apps 😀

I have same problem with my card.

Yesterday I've run out of money, so I added costs to my card - and now it always says that payment method is not valid for Russia. Bank was not able to provide any information, they say that they don't even get an error from iTunes.

Same in India. With EntroPay Virtual Card...

Hi, I am also in Luxembourg and have got the same issue with my AMEX card.... don't know what to do ?

I kept escalating to Apple and they finally got back to me saying the card looks Belgian to their systems. I now went back to Amex and asked them to get their ITunes account manager to talk to Apple and get it fixed. I don't care whose fault it is, only that the problem get fixed. What boggles my mind is that only the last 5 digits of the new card were different, so how that turns a Lux card into a Belgian card is beyond me.

Having the same problem- appstore not accepting my visa, saying that the payment method is incorrect and the postcode as well.

Sumbitted ticket to the support.

I just experienced the same situation this morning.

The simple way to fix it is -- select none for you payment first, then change the country/region.

It should work!
