Why can't I change my itunes from US to UK? everytime I enter a valid UK card I get the above error message. It *****.

Is this Apple's business to check does my credit card belong to this country or not? I may have credit cards in dfferent countries and I can use them wherever I want. I can buy salt from the market with this credit card in a completely different country but I cannot buy applications from App Store. This is ridiculous.
If it is a bug, just fix it. If it is a kind of a "security" policy, I have to say that: "it is ********!"

The "confirm" loop is extremely annoying, since you have to type your password every single time.
Same problem in Mexico, card is fine, works on Mac iTunes store and App Store, only doesn't work on iphone/ipad
Still getting the "verify information" loop on iPad/iPhone. On Mac iTunes it works fine.
u will need nto go to ur payment in ur itunes account click on none for the card click done
then go back in to the payment add card add reconfirm ur cards number end date and cc card code
I've done that like 3 times already. Still, "verify information" loop every time I try to buy an app.

when u say verify loop is this asking for ur apple password?
remove ur card and readd it by entering all ur card details in againg as well as ur billing ads

Nope, didn't work. Still says "The payment card you entered is not valid in United Kingdom"
It works now in Romania.
Hopefully everywhere else.
