Why can't I change my itunes from US to UK? everytime I enter a valid UK card I get the above error message. It *****.
Is this Apple's business to check does my credit card belong to this country or not? I may have credit cards in dfferent countries and I can use them wherever I want. I can buy salt from the market with this credit card in a completely different country but I cannot buy applications from App Store. This is ridiculous.
If it is a bug, just fix it. If it is a kind of a "security" policy, I have to say that: "it is ********!"
Thank you Tiggerss that worked BUT first I had to turn off family sharing before it would allow me to select None as a payment method. I cant believe how this small issue pretty much killed an entire day for me. Apple come on!! This is ridiculous.
I have been able to change Country choosing NONE as payment , but now problem is: how can I buy something? Credit Card is UNIVERSAL.....am I missing something? This is elementary and very very frustrating

The same issue in Czech Republic, few days ago everything worked well. Seems the troubles are on Apple side.
The same in Poland. A few hours ago my credit card worked fine and now it's not valid in Poland.
Tried to set all accounts to payment method = none and the re-enter the card. Not working. Just to save you time...
The same issue in Brazil. Today morning I bought in Itunes and now I´m receiving a message of invalid card.
Same problem here, I get the feeling that there might have been a security breach in iTunes today..... 😮
Same problem in Colombia, i was scared but im agree with YMAM maybe a problem with the Security sistem.
I've tried with one more credit card. Please Apple come and help us!!!
I reckon it's something to do with Anonymous, they tweeted a warning message to some unknown company earlier today.
i've tried 2 different Visa Debit & 1 Visa Credit cards - all are not valid UK cards supposedly - just updated PayPal with new Debit card with no issue so defo something up with Apple!!!!
