iOS 5 update issues "Network Connection could not be established"

Keep getting error, "Network Connection cannot be established". I thought last night was possibly do to,

server being busy. But at 06:30 this morning same error. MY info: Itunes 10.6, Iphone 4S 5.01 Connected directly to my Macbook and internet connection is fine. Does anyone have or had same issue or ideas?

Worked perfectly for me as well! I also updated the DNS on my ATV, and it worked for that as well. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!🙂

I go on these threads looking for answers fairly often. And I usually get an answer, or enough info where I can figure it out. But, really technical (for me) things like changing settings usually scares me. But, I took a chance and followed your instructions, and it actually worked! And correctly, the first time! lol.

Thank you for the clear instructions for those of us who don't know all the language, settings and abbreviations for them. =^..^=
