iOS 5 update issues "Network Connection could not be established"

for wireless, either. but from itunes may be quicker.

I should have said version 5.1 instead. Working on problem 2 days. Paper and pencil would have taken a minute.

I go on these threads looking for answers fairly often. And I usually get an answer, or enough info where I can figure it out. But, really technical (for me) things like changing settings usually scares me. But, I took a chance and followed your instructions, and it actually worked! And correctly, the first time! lol.

Thanks, work fine. Itunes stops running and a message ask if I want to open again or report. Clicks on open again a few times and OK for some time. Have latest version installed. Knowned problem?

Thanks for that; worked perfectly. What is really irritating is that I phoned Applecare to be told it was just because the servers were very busy. A day later I called again and was told the same thing again. I was just about to try calling them yet again when I found this thread. Forum 1 Applecare 0. Laughing out loud, rolling on the floor etc.
