Artwork doesn't sync with music in ipod touch 4th Gen

Hi everyone, this problem came across my ipod unfortunately as well, but heres what i figured. Itunes does of course add art work to albums in itunes but will not transfer artwork to ipod/iphone once you've dragged music over to your device. Well this frustrated me as well, but i've figured out how to make artwork come out on my ipod touch.

Heres what i did, follow these steps:

1.) Delete all music from ipod (make sure purchased music from ipod is transfered to your desktop/laptop)

2.) Go to your library and highlight all artists/albums and right click and choose GET INFO

3.) check the box that sits to the left of the ARTWORK column

4.) click OK and accept the change on so many artist. (after the wait, all art should be gone)

5.) next go to File > Library > Get Album Artwork (im assuming you have itunes 11)

6.) After the long or short wait you are good to go. Transfer all your music back to your iPod/iPhone

and all artwork should be shown for every album. Unless the information is wack and itunes can't

recognize the artist and will not get that artwork so make sure all Artists, Albums, Songs, and year is

correct.

Well there you go, everything should be right where it should be! I'm truly stoked with the fact that there is not blank album! All the art is in place and is correct! Goodluck let me know if this method helps you out, and have a happy holidays!

@scottA11 you should WARN that by doing step 2, 3 and 4 you delete all the personal artworks associated with the songs you selected. Non all the artworks are in itunes store, and the artworks of itunes have a low resolution!
So guys.. be aware that if you do steps 2-4 you delete all your personal artworks!

I had the same problem, so i removed the songs that weren't showing artwork off my ipod and then dragged them from my library back onto my ipod again (i changed the artwork while in my iTunes library, not on my ipod) and this worked for me. But i'd advise this only if you have a small amount of songs that aren't showing the artwork

I'm having similar problems, only it's all the albums I have from this one artist all have the artwork covers of other albums in my library. Never had this problem before, and I bought all the songs off iTunes, so it's not like it's a CD conversion issue or whatever... If anyone has any suggestions, please!! Thank you

I'm running on an iPod 5 so I'm not sure this is relevant, but, had this same issue; artwork went missing or wrong cover, one time all I did was a reset the other time tapped on the album cover when it was in tile display, like I was going to play the album and it corrected it's self.
